Suzette Huovinen

Suzette has been a part of the Securian Financial family since 1997 and has held a number of progressive leadership positions within the company, most recently as Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer. She brings to Securian Canada more than 20 years of experience in risk management and actuarial oversight, including playing a key role in developing Securian’s enterprise risk management program. An active supporter of the community, Suzette has served on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Children’s Museum and Stepping Stone Theatre for Youth Development, both non-profit organizations based in St. Paul, Minnesota.
