Mark Geldernick
Vice President, Affinity Solutions, Securian Financial
Mark Geldernick serves as Vice President, Affinity Solutions for Securian Canada’s parent company, Securian Financial, and sits on the Executive Leadership Team for Securian Canada. Mark assumed the ELT role in early 2024, having previously served in the roles of Vice President, Law, and Chief Risk Officer at Securian Financial. With more than 15 years of experience within the organization, his distinguished risk and legal expertise along with acquisition experience are critical in enabling Securian Canada’s full growth potential. As part of his mandate, Mark provides oversight of the Legal and Compliance departments along with the corporate development area in Canada, driving alignment and contribution towards the organization’s growth and financial performance objectives. He serves as a board member of Lifeworks Services, a Minnesota-based non-profit organization driving change by increasing opportunity and access in the community for those with disabilities. In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his sons, doing activities like boating, swimming, football, golf and basketball.
